The Brief: October 2026

Voice FNOL in general availability, faster loss-run extraction, and a new review queue for underwriting assistants. Here is everything we shipped this month.

A grid of Clarix agent workflows: FNOL, policy servicing, claims QA, submission intake, COI generation and plan setup

Welcome to The Brief, our monthly roundup of what is new in Clarix. October was about one theme: fewer handoffs. Every release below removes a step where a person used to copy, check or chase something by hand.

Voice FNOL is generally available

After a three-month pilot with eleven carriers, Clarix Voice for FNOL is now available to every customer. The agent answers first notice of loss calls around the clock, captures the loss in your carrier's own intake structure, and hands a complete file to the adjuster before the claimant has hung up. Pilot customers saw median call-to-claim-file time drop from 41 minutes to under four.

Loss runs, 3x faster

We rebuilt the loss-run extractor on a new document model. Multi-carrier loss runs with nested tables, scanned faxes and handwritten notes now process in roughly a third of the time, and the extractor flags any line it is unsure about instead of guessing.

Also new this month

  • Underwriting review queue. Assistants can now see every submission the intake agent has prepared, sorted by appetite fit and completeness.
  • Endorsement diffing. Clarix highlights exactly what changed between the bound policy and the requested endorsement, clause by clause.
  • SSO group mapping. Admins can map Okta and Entra ID groups directly to Clarix roles.

As always, reply to your customer success manager or write to us if you want any of these switched on for your team.
