COI Requests on Autopilot: The Certificate Agent Is Now Generally Available
Clarix now issues certificates of insurance end to end, from reading the request to checking the holder's requirements and sending the certificate back.
Certificates of insurance are the most common request in any commercial brokerage, and among the least loved. Today the Clarix certificate agent is generally available.
The agent reads incoming COI requests from email, portals and text messages, checks the certificate holder's insurance requirements against the client's actual coverage, and issues the certificate from your agency management system. If the requirements call for an additional insured or waiver of subrogation endorsement the client does not have, the agent flags it to the account manager instead of issuing.
During early access, customers saw 85 percent of COI requests completed with no human touch, and average turnaround fell from a day to under ten minutes.
