About the role
Forward Deployed Engineers sit at the seam between our product and our customers' operations. You will embed with carrier and MGA teams, map how work really moves through their inboxes, portals and policy admin systems, and ship the integrations and agent configurations that put Clarix into production.
What you'll do
- Lead technical delivery for new customers, from first data pull to go-live
- Build integrations with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Applied Epic and in-house systems
- Configure and tune agents for submission intake, FNOL and servicing workflows
- Turn patterns you see in the field into product requirements and reusable tooling
- Be the engineer customers trust when something unexpected comes up
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building production software, ideally in a customer-facing role
- Strong TypeScript or Python, and comfort with APIs, queues and messy data
- The judgment to balance speed for one customer against the product for all of them
- Clear written and spoken communication with technical and operations audiences
- Insurance or financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement
