About the role
Our customers trust Clarix with policyholder data, claims files and underwriting information. As our Security & Compliance Engineer, you will strengthen our infrastructure and controls, and help customers' security teams say yes with confidence.
What you'll do
- Own our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programmes and their continuous evidence
- Harden cloud infrastructure, identity and data access controls
- Lead security reviews of new features, models and integrations
- Answer customer security questionnaires and join diligence calls
- Build monitoring, incident response and data retention tooling
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in security engineering, ideally in a SaaS company
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, infrastructure as code and IAM
- Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001 and privacy regulations such as GLBA and GDPR
- The ability to explain risk clearly to engineers, executives and customers
- Familiarity with insurance regulation (e.g. NYDFS Part 500) is a plus
