About the role
We are hiring our first Insurance Operations Lead to be the voice of the operations floor inside Clarix. You will define what 'done right' looks like for each workflow our agents run, and make sure our product reflects how the best carrier and broker teams actually work.
What you'll do
- Own the operational playbooks for submission intake, endorsements, COIs and loss runs
- Design the review queues, exception paths and quality checks our customers rely on
- Work with product and engineering to turn operational expertise into agent behaviour
- Partner with customers' operations leaders during rollout and beyond
- Build and lead a team of insurance domain specialists as we grow
What we're looking for
- 8+ years in insurance operations at a carrier, MGA or broker, with people leadership
- Deep familiarity with policy servicing, underwriting support or claims operations
- A track record of improving throughput and quality in a high-volume team
- Comfort with ambiguity and the energy of an early-stage company
- Curiosity about how AI can change the shape of operations work
