About the role
The Agents Platform team builds the runtime that every Clarix agent runs on: orchestration, tool use, human review, audit trails and evaluation. You will design systems that are reliable enough for regulated insurance workflows and flexible enough to support new use cases every month.
What you'll do
- Design and build the orchestration layer that plans, runs and checkpoints agent work
- Own the audit trail that records every step, source and decision an agent makes
- Build evaluation harnesses that measure accuracy on real insurance documents
- Improve latency, cost and reliability across millions of agent steps
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar for code quality and system design
What we're looking for
- 6+ years building distributed systems or backend platforms in production
- Experience with LLM-based systems, or a strong desire to go deep on them
- A habit of writing clear design docs and making careful trade-offs
- Comfort owning services end to end, including on-call
- Bonus: experience in regulated industries such as insurance, banking or health
